In a natural setting of rare beauty, the Cultural-Natural Reserve “Orheiul Vechi” will host the 7th edition of the Classical Music Festival “DescOperă” from June 21st to 23rd. This exceptional event brings together classical music lovers to celebrate the Puccini Centenary Year, offering a varied and spectacular program.
Festival Program
June 21: “ETERNAL ARIAS”
The first evening of the festival will open with a fabulous performance featuring famous arias interpreted by talented Italian artists.
- Guest Artists: Soloists from the Rome Opera House
- Symphony Orchestra: National Opera and Ballet Theater “Maria Bieșu”
June 22: “TOSCA” by Giacomo Puccini
The second evening will bring one of Puccini’s most acclaimed operas, “TOSCA,” to the stage at Orheiul Vechi, in a performance that promises to captivate the audience.

- Choir: National Opera and Ballet Theater “Maria Bieșu”
June 23: “LA BOHÈME” by Giacomo Puccini
The final day of the festival will culminate with a moving performance of the opera “LA BOHÈME.” This masterpiece, celebrated for its depth and intensity, will come to life against the picturesque backdrop of Orheiul Vechi, offering the audience a story of love, friendship, and sorrow.
